Abstract

John Maynard Keynes argued that, "Aggregate demand determines the overall level of economic activity... inadequate aggregate demand could lead to prolonged periods of high unemployment". Because of his thinking, the notion of "if we create a product it will find a market" became "if we stimulate demand through understanding and meeting consumer needs, growth and profit will be the end result".
