Abstract

Women are the invisible victims of the 1990s, the faceless masses filling the background on canvases of terror and hardship. Most of the casualties of war are women and children. Most of these women are struggling to care for and protect their children. Human rights violations against women are rampant partly because they remain largely hidden.
