Abstract

In the start up stages of a company, it is common practice for a shareholder, director, chairman and CEO of a company to be one and the same person. Even in large companies some and sometimes all these roles very often overlap. In cases where this occurs, it is important for such players to understand the different objectives and responsibilities in order to achieve good governance.
