While couches, pause areas and informal meeting spaces are generally more commonly associated with socialising than office design, the modern work place is increasingly being created to enhance comfort and collaboration between coworkers, with a focus on movement as opposed to static seating. Office designs are geared towards maximising human potential, productivity and performance by encouraging employees to move around and engage with one another.
