Populations rebelling against blatantly corrupt governments mounted protests and uprisings throughout Africa in 2015. More of such conflict can be assured if African nations do not find effective means to discourage the greed of public officials and rule-bending private business people. In this continuation of a conversation begun in March 2015, John Mukum Mbaku, whose work has illuminated the issue of corruption in African societies, addresses further facets of this perennial problem.
