Abstract

Few economists today may consider multinational corporations as having any influence on the success or failure of regional integration among the primary commodity producing countries. The purpose of this paper is to prove that notwithstanding the withdrawal of the European powers from their African terrrtories, new and more subtle forms of econormic domination have been devised and that multinational corporations are the forebearers of a new era in neo-colonialism.
