abstract= "Alexious Shoko was crowned the 2015 Western Cape Farm Worker of the Year during a prestigious gala award ceremony hosted in November 2015 at the Nederburg Wine Estate in Paarl. Approximately 700 guests attended the event, which is the culmination of the Western Cape Farm Worker of the Year Competition. Since 2005 the Western Cape Department of Agriculture (WCDoA) presented the competition annually, and for the past four years it has been done in close partnership with Shoprite."
