Abstract

Eight phenols have been extracted and separated from newly matured avocado leaves. Six of these phenols have been identified as follows: cis- aesculetin, trans-aesculetin, sinapic acid, ferulic acid, p-coumaric acid and p-hydroxybenzoic acid.
