Abstract

Family functioning is a concept measured by examining the individuals' perception of how that family would be functioning under a given stress. The purpose of this article is to discuss cultural issues that should be considered when examining outcomes such as Family Functioning, especially when translating foreign developed instruments for use in a different culture.
