In: Black Women Writing and Identity: Migrations of the Subject (1994), Carole Boyce Davies asks questions which to some extent frame the methodology of this paper, or collection of ideas. If we recognise theories as 'frames of intelligibility' then it seems plausible that these frames can, should and do take on multiple forms.
