Abstract

Cubic graphs form an important part of the South African school Mathematics curriculum in terms of curve sketching, graph interpretation and contextualised maxima and minima problems. The purpose of this article is to highlight a number of interesting features of cubic graphs that can be used to illustrate interconnections between different aspects of school mathematics.
