Abstract

Diurnal patterns of rumen Ca, Pi and Mg concentrations in sheep on restricted diets were investigated in a 3 x 3 Latin square with concentrations of Ca, Mg, Nand P in the basal ration (Treatment A) as 0,93%; 0,19%; 1,63% and 0,173%, respectively. The diet used in Treatment H contained 0,94% P and in Treatment C, 4,6 g P/day (as phosphates) was infused duodenally.
