A further aspect of the body water-nitrogen relationship was explored to ensure more accurate deduction of body nitrogen content from body moisture content. The carcasses of chickens given either diets with very low nitrogen content or diets in which sunflower meal with or without supplemental lysine supplied about 17,5% protein were analysed for nitrogen and body moisture content. The equations that express the body water-nitrogen relationship in the two types of chickens were different.
