Fish meals were made from minced fish treated with formaldehyde at different concentrations and levels and for varying times. These meals were given to chickens from 7 to 16 days of age in rations which consisted of sunflower meal and of fish meal at levels of 4,93% in Trial 1 and 4,5% in Trials 2, 3 and 4 as only 'non-synthetic' ingredient.
