Breed and sex differences in sheep with regard to voluntary feed intake, growth, body composition and efficiency are descriptionbed in quantitative terms. This was achieved by using functional relationships to descriptionbe growth and the composition of growth, and by comparing the animals by means of a method of analysis which is invariant to changing characteristics.
