Abstract

The following new taxa are descriptionbed: Leptocera (Limosina) citrina n. sp. (Natal), umbrosa n.sp. (Trans­vaal), costata n. sp. (Transvaal); Leptocera (Poecilosomella) multicolor n. sp. (nominate form, W. Cape Prov.), subsp. palidifemur n. subsp. (Natal), subsp. lamellata n. subsp. (E. Cape Prov.); Limosinella n. gen., type polita n. sp. (Transvaal, Natal). The nominate form of multicolor is long-winged, whereas both subspecies named are brachypterous. L. polita is a dimorphic species, being brachypterous in the Transvaal and macropterous in Natal. The other species descriptionbed have normal wings.
