Abstract

Ogcodes (Ogcodes) croucampi is newly descriptionbed from the Northern Province of South Africa. The species was reared from a subadult male of an undetermined species of Cheiracanthium Koch (Miturgidae). The duration of the final larval instar was three days and that of the pupa 12 days. The afrotropical fauna of Ogcodes, now numbering 12 named species. is briefly reviewed. Southern African spider-host records of Acroceridae are listed.
