Abstract

The male of Cladomelea akermani Hewitt, the first known in the genus, is descriptionbed, and the female redescriptionbed. Observations on the species' prey capture behaviour reveal that details of the initial descriptionption of these habits were not correct. The possible link between particular morphological characters and the behaviour is discussed.
