Abstract

The growing trend towards market globalisation makes long-term business relationships increasingly important for the development of business competitive advantage and success. This paper investigates how Botswana s Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Textile Exporters develop and nurture relationships with their foreign market distributors with intentions to fully internationalise their operations. Specifically, this investigation aims to understand the extent to which exporters use foreign distributors to access external market information and capitalise on those markets.
