Abstract

While it is reasonable to believe that professionals who assess students' academic work such as tests and assignments strictly uphold to the established ethics of assessment and marking, such as giving detailed and effective feedback, qualms in marking is inevitable. A survey carried at the University of Botswana with 200612007 Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (PGDE) students revealed some repulsive experiences to feedback they got from their lecturers.
