In this article, a research project and its results are descriptionbed The study was aimed at investigating various approaches to teaching large classes at university level in order to determine what worked best. The study was carried out in the University of Botswana using a single course having one of the largest enrolments. The course is a general computer and information literacy course that every student must pass before graduating. For purposes of the study, students in the class were divided into treatment and control groups.
