The decision variables at the Human Resources Management (HRM) level of corporate organizations are many and the task of evaluating their possible combinations is enormous. In addition to this, there is an increasing growth in size and complexity of (HRM) activities. In this work, a computer model is formulated, which allows for a stepwise application of both quantitative and qualitative parameters in the process of taking decisions on the Human Resource (HR) element of corporate organization. The model is composed of a knowledge base, inference engine, decision support engine and user interface. The system is implemented in a Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft Access Database System. It tested in a LAN environment utilizing Windows 98 as the Operating System. A case study of Human Resources Management in a university environment is carried out and some results are presented.
