Abstract

The technique of X -ray Powder Diffraction (XRPD) is very useful in the study of crystalline solids, and in this paper it was applied to study Ni-Cu orebodies which are fed into the online concentrator and smelter at Selebi Phikwe, Botswana . Five samples were studied: three samples from three mines at Selebi, Selebi North and Phikwe and two samples from the mines at Selkirk and Phoenix, all in north-east Botswana.
