Abstract

This article analyses the poem "Φεγγαρόλουστη" by Dionysios Solomos as a study case of the poet's skill in overturning the one-track poetic view of Nature and in presenting it endowed by beauty and harmony, according to the classical ideal on the one hand, but in conjuction with the goodness of Christianity, on the other hand.
