Abstract

The study investigated the relationship between parental illiteracy and truancy among urban and rural Day Secondary School pupils in Kaduna and Katsina States. The findings were discussed in the light of available data and literature. The implications of this for parents, teachers and governments and other remediation measures were discussed.
