Much has been written about the upcoming Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and while this has created awareness amongst all industries, not everyone is aware of the direct impact on their business. Given that the CPA influences goods and services, such as the quality of products in the market; the marketing and communication to suppliers and consumers (including labelling, advertising and promotions); and agreements (terms and conditions) - it is clear to see that the CPA will affect most, if not all, businesses in South Africa.
