Communicare is a double-blind peer reviewed, accredited journal in the field of communication studies. The journal is published biannually by the School of Communication, University of Johannesburg. The journal is accredited by the South African Department of Higher Education and Training, and is indexed by EBSCO, Sabinet, OCLC, Google Scholar, and the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers, Scientific Level 1.
