Abstract

Interesting developments regarding the development and recognition of the rights of aboriginal peoples continue to emanate out of Canada. I have pointed out such previous developments in "The American Indian and tribal law: lessons for South Africa" (2003 160); "Aboriginal rights and self-determination" (1998 788) and "International law and indigenous land rights: further lessons for South Africa" (2005 384).
