Abstract

With regard to acute septic tonsilitis, we must accept the weight of evidence, and recognize the fact that one or more organisms are responsible for the condition. Probably at one time one organism is responsible; at another time an entirely different germ. Again, we may have a combination of two or more distinct organisms at the root of the trouble.
