Abstract

Two cases of probable coronary thrombosis with infarction are descriptionbed together with their electrocardiographic findings. A review of the literature shows opposing schools of thought with regard to the incidence and symptomatology in this disease. The difference appears to lie in the fact that many cases go undescriptionbed because of the lack of symptoms. In Africans it is felt that the dietary factor is a more important environmental factor in precipitating this disease.
