Abstract

Infant feeding bottles have evolved over thousands of years and have featured devices made from fruit or vegetable shells, leather, clay, cow's horns, wood, various metals, porcelain, glass and latterly plastic bottles which, in the United States, have been refined to disposable and semi-disposable containers.
