Abstract

All too often the phrase 'employee engagement' is a catch-all phrase although generally it is typified by anything that is designed to motivate employees to improve their performance. Ideally, the definition of employee engagement should be particular to individual organisations. At the same time, an employee engagement strategy should reflect the organisation's particular needs rather than utilising a one size fits all approach.
