Just a week into her job and our new Deputy Editor Kerryn le Cordeur, was sent packing to the annual Loeries advertising bun fight with a brief to spot trends, meet influential people and go easy on the Tequila. By all accounts she accomplished some of these and her Loeries takeout makes for interesting reading. The top line here is how different media platforms are merging to create a seamless advertising continuum; and marketers who want to advertise effectively would be well advised to adhere to one of the old industry dictums, tap well into the human condition.
