Abstract

: One clinical trial was found and traced concerning resin-modified GIC (RM-GIC). The material was Fuji II LC (compared to: Tetric Flow and Helioseal F). No trials were identified comparing conventional GIC (C-GIC) with composite resin.

: The overall results suggest a higher antibacterial effect for RM-GIC up to 6 months.
: All evidence from one clinical, controlled trial. This is still an emerging topic and the quality of the existing evidence requires further assessment.
