Abstract

Chronic constipation continues to be one of the most frequent complaints in paediatric practices. Despite ongoing research, chronic constipation remains a challenging affliction for infants and children, their families and healthcare providers and is associated with significant emotional and economic burden for both the children and the caregivers.
