Abstract

As members of the Society, can we ALL say that we qualify to be the conscience of the profession? We now and then read or hear about some negative things that some pharmacists have done. Granted, not all are our members, but some are. How can one be the "conscience of the profession" when one has limited or no conscience? It therefore starts with us as individuals. How do we carry ourselves in our daily lives? Pharmacists have been one of the most trusted professionals in society. Is that still the case? If not, what went wrong? I therefore urge each and every one of us to do some introspection and see where we each stand. We need to revisit our values and live by them.
