Abstract

People involved within this industry are aware that occupational health and safety (OHS) involves ensuring that the environment in which you work is safe and healthy. It is also about anticipating, recognising, evaluating and controlling conditions arising in or from the workplace that may cause accidents, illness or adverse effects to persons and property. These hazards are ergonomic, chemical and biological. OHS is therefore psychological, social and physical, including noise, illumination, vibration and radiation.
