Abstract

With September comes spring and the change to a warmer, more amenable climate. In this issue of Occupational Risk, we take a look at the Chemical and Allied Industries Association Information Session on Climate Change that took place recently. Among the topics discussed were South Africa's approach to green house gas emissions, responsible care for green house gas emissions and carbon footprint management as well as how South African chemical and allied companies can actively assess their corporate climate change risk and manage their own carbon footprints.
