Abstract

This article represents the initial findings of a study undertaken into the writings of Nikolai Faleev (Chuzh-Chuzhenin), a well-known figure of Russia's 'Silver Age' who has since slipped into obscurity. After a brief introduction to Faleev's literary career, the article is followed by a reprint of his short play, 'A hairdresser dummy', which is the first reproduction of this text since its original publication in 1910.
