Super foods are foods packed with nutrients and they are the perfect way to improve your health this summer. These foods contain nutrients such as healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, protein and amino acids. A simple way to include superfoods in your diet is in a salad. The superfood salad below features quinoa, a well-known superfood, as its base. The grain-like seed is high in fibre, protein and amino acids and tastes great too. Mixed into the quinoa are almond flakes, mixed sprouts, cranberries, broccoli, avocado and feta cheese, which are all identified as superfoods.
